Natural and Supernatural
Some Christians learn to walk with God in natural ways like serving and witnessing, but never learn to walk with God supernaturally. The gifts of the Spirit, dreams, visions, visitations, and supernatural acts of the Holy Spirit are foreign to them. I started out in the natural and only since 1999 have experienced more of the supernatural fellowship with God. How about you? Is there room in your life for God to do miracles in you and through you? Is your faith big enough and true enough to believe that God will do supernatural things right now? Are you willing to abandon your traditions in favor of the true and living God to invade your everyday life in great and mighty ways?
Do you actually believe that all things are possible with God? Today? Right now? These are the questions that you must consider. The supernatural activity of the Holy Spirit in everyday life is normal for the Spirit filled believer in Christ. That's what Jesus meant when he said, "I have come that you might have life and have it in abundance." It's His life that he gives you and it is a life without limits. Are you limiting Him? To grow in this area make a commitment to him to surrender your beliefs, traditions, and thinking completely. Ask him to open your ears to hear his voice. When you recognize him speaking to you respond by saying out loud the things he just said to you. Tell him you agree with him and believe him. Ask him to help you grow in the supernatural. Do you know what your supernatural spiritual gifts are? Most Christians are aware of their natural gifts such as administration, serving, giving, mercy, etc. Those are good and you should develop and use those for his glory, but in order to participate in kingdom ministry you must operate in kingdom gifts, kingdom faith, and kingdom authority. Jesus said whatever you allow on earth then in heaven he decrees that it is allowed and it becomes so. Jesus said that whatever you forbid on earth then in heaven he decrees that it is forbidden and it becomes so. Just as he said that he says what he hears the father saying and he does what he sees the father doing so it is with you. Dear believer you are in partnership with Jesus. You are in him and he is in you. The more you cooperate with him by saying what he says and believing what he says then the more you will do what he does. Don't become respectable in Christ rather become spectacular in Christ. Do not settle for a life that is less than everything that Jesus paid to give you. Listen to Jesus, believe him, walk with him. You'll be glad you did.
